As the waning days of my ministry with you transpire, I want to offer my thanks for the privilege of being with you. My regret has always been that I could not give you the full time you deserve. You have been gracious with me in spite of that deficiency. We have shared humor over the question, “How many times have you retired?” In checking my ‘historical’ record, I share with you the following:
I am sure you will give a warm welcome to Pastor David and Mrs. Chris Brinker. I have known them from their youth. They are a fine couple. As you work with them together, I believe you will find it a rewarding experience for the years ahead. As always, Phyllis and I continue to wish you well and are glad to be counted among the friends of Faxon-Kenmar. The 9 months plus the 3 months have given us a full year that blesses us with memories and friendship. We support you in our thoughts and prayers. God is with you. ~~Pastor Jack
