3 years ago Faxon-Kenmar UMC stepped out in faith and purchased the Becht School Building adjacent to our church property. The vision was to create a center that would benefit the community by working together with various civic organizations and ministries. In this it has been very successful, but there is so much more that can be done. The challenge we have before us is to pay off the debt so that more resources can be channeled into new programing and outreach opportunities.
To help share this story with the congregation a video presentation will kick off our Fall Capital Funds Campaign during both worship services on Sunday September 14. You can help in this effort by contacting Bruce Huffman or Pastor Bill if you have any historical pictures, documents, etc of either the church or the old Becht School Building. We would be grateful if you would share them with us.
