We had a WONDERFUL WOMAN’S BANQUET on May 13th!!  We had 93 women (young and young in spirit!) attend.  We had a delicious meal catered by Crouses Catering and served to us by members of the United Methodist Men. Thank you Men for a job well done!  We then had a Fascinating Fashion Show of clothing that can be found right here at our Thrift Store. And who would have believed the stylish outfits those models came up with.  If you had not been to our Thrift Store to shop before this, well that fashion show sure should have changed your mind!  We then announced the winner of the quilt which the Quilt Ladies so graciously made for us, thanks again Quilt Ladies!  Shirley Vassallo was the winner, she came into the Thrift Store the very next day and was SO EXCITED that she won the quilt! And that is where she bought the ticket, in the Thrift Store!  Last but not least we gave away 10 potted flowers that Barb Reeder donated. Thanks Barb!  We got a little personal trying to come up with unique ways to give away the flowers, but it was all in good fun.
 
Once again thank you to everyone who helped out with the banquet, it took a lot of cooperation.  A special thanks to Ruth Wheeland for putting the Fashion Show together, Jean Caloz for organizing the meal, Annette Foresman & Nancy Holmes for being in charge of the Quilt, and All of the MEN who worked TOGETHER.

ET will take the summer off and get back together on September 16th for their pot-luck dinner.  Have a great summer and see you then.
