Church Picnic / Hospitality

The Hospitality Committee, led by Sheila Koskey, invites you to mark on your calendar the date of SUNDAY, JULY 20th and join your church family for a summer picnic on the  Becht Property / God’s Workshop! (RAIN OR SHINE!). We will meet after the 10:15 AM service. Hope to see EVERYBODY. On Sunday, June 22, we welcomed FIVE new members and their families into Faxon Kenmar membership. "Welcome Baskets," put together by Annette Foresman, were presented in the service by Sheila Koskey, the Hospitality Chairwoman. A cookie and punch reception, organized by Hospitality, followed the service where the congregation had an opportunity to greet  Deb Dodson, Sue Lorson, Scott Lorson, Gerarda Loder, and Dale Loder. Most of us thought Deb was already a member – she has been so active in the church for years. Scott and Sue have two sons – Rick and Myers! We are THRILLED they have joined our church family! On Sunday,  August 10th, the Committeee will host the first FELLOWSHIP HOUR between the two services at 9 AM.  Stay late or come early and take some time to catch up on what everybody’s  been doing this summer. The Hospitality Committee meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM in the Upper Room.  All are welcome to join in the work of  this very active committee.
