 Plans are underway for our First Summer Event, Wednesday, August 13th. Chuck Rightmire has made arrangements for us to gather at GRAY’S RUN hunting lodge for a picnic. Please sign up in the narthex. We will arrange car pooling from the church.
On September 19-20, we have reserved the Missionary Cottage at CENTRAL OAK HEIGHTS in West Milton, one of our former Central PA UM campgrounds. The cabin sleeps 22 and has full cooking facilities as well as a great meeting area. COH is a beautiful site. This will be a Friday/Saturday overnight event, but you can also just join us on the Saturday. Again, sign-up on the narthex bulletin board (if you are just coming on Saturday, after your name write “Sat only”). We are contacting a special speaker to lead our retreat! This promises to be a unique time of faith, fun and fellowship!!
We are also going to have a Grandfather/Father/Son outing to the Little League World Championship Games in late August. Check your weekly bulletin for more information concerning this activity. Future outings include tours of Allenwood Prison, Jersey Shore Steel, and the Lycoming Land Fill. On months we do NOT have another activity scheduled, we will meet for a breakfast meeting at the church on the SECOND Saturday morning of the month.
