Even though we had stiff competition from garage sales during the summer, the thrift store continues to do well. Generous donations keep appearing at our door, and we are grateful! Presently the store needs are: fall children's clothing, bath towels and jewelry (broken or new). And it's not too early to send in Halloween and Thanksgiving decorations and knick-knacks! The Boxtops for Education and Labels for Education programs typically put extra boxtops on their participating products in the fall. So if you use any of the products in the program, look for the packages with the bonus points on! Also, the coupon machines at the grocery store registers sometimes spit out bonus coupons for these two programs. They are often worth 50 or 100 points! So be sure not to throw those away. To date we have realized over $150 from these boxtops. It's not a lot of money, but it's free, and every little bit helps! Thanks to all you faithful savers!
