Thanks to so many generous donations of books, our church library is getting full.  The shelves are beginning to burst at the seams.  A request has been made for more book shelves which may take a few weeks to receive.  For the future, please limit book donations to Christian  themes only.  A church library should be mainly about godly ideals,  stories, music and movies.  The thrift store ladies may be willing to accept any secular books you may no longer want, but please be sure to check with them first as their space is also limited!  Thank you.

Also new starting August 30, books, etc. will now be signed out in a  new and more efficient way.  A notebook will be placed where the index cards once were.  It will be divided alphabetically.  You will see a  new format for signing out books including your name and phone number, the item being borrowed, the date taken out and the date received back in the library.  Each person will have his or her own page so you can keep track of the books you are reading or other items you may be borrowing.  This will make things easier for me to keep track of items taken from the library since we do not have a computerized system to keep track of everything.  You will be able to see if you have returned everything if the dates are properly filled in.  This should  only take a moment of your time, so please don't get discouraged with this small inconvenience since it will help me tremendously.
