We had 29 women attend our indoor picnic on September 16th.  This included 2 first-timers, who will be joining the church in October, Sandy Knowlden and Edythe DeMarco, we were very glad to have both of them!  Besides eating way too much food (!) we discussed where to divide mission money:  UMCOR (to help the Gulfstates devastated by the recent hurricanes), Habitat for Humanity and Bibles for Prison inmates in Lycoming County were the recipients this year.  We thank everyone who donates to the Thrift Store in any way, thru actual donations, thru working there, or thru buying merchandise there.  It is thru this, that the ET Circle is able to take that leap of faith outside of our fortress into the community and help others less fortunate than ourselves.

ET Circle will be serving lunch at the Sojourner Truth Café on October 11th.  AS always, a very big thank you to Annette Foresman and Nancy Holmes for heading up this very worthwhile cause.

The next regular meeting of the ET Circle will be Tuesday, October 21st at 7:00 pm.  Our guest speaker, will be Susan Tassin, author of PA Ghost Towns.   Many of you know Susan, as she grew up in Faxon-Kenmar UMC, and she is the daughter of Mary & Bill Hutchison.  We look forward to welcoming her!
