Safe Sanctuary Training

All persons serving in ministries with children and youth this year must have current clearances— criminal and child abuse— and have current Safe Sanctuary training. Please contact the office to see if you need to update your clearances or to get information about how to apply for these. You can get help to apply, if needed. Church office: 570-323-7272. If you have recently completed the training and obtained the clearances, ensure you provide copies to the office. This is a “heads up” for all planning to serve God through our music camp and other outreach ministries here at our church or in other ways this summer. Please take care of updating your clearances now. We want to provide a safe place for our ministry with young people in the coming months. Thank you!

Arlene Brown is speaking at Faxon-Kenmar

Arlene Brown is speaking at Faxon-Kenmar on May 14 at 7 pm. You are invited to join us to hear Arlene speak and to share in an incredible evening. God called her to work in Rwanda many years ago. She left Williamsport, where she had lived and raised her family, to follow God’s leading. She has been there since the early 2000s. She has roots at St John’s- Newberry UMC and with many folks in Williamsport. She is here in the states for a couple of months to share her story. Our Mission Team has lined her up to come to be with us.
