Our ministry for Back to School time this year is here! 3 ways for your to plug in:
- Donate supplies (see below).
- Show up on August 26 for our blessing time.
- Help take supplies on Monday, August 27.
Save Sunday morning worship at 8 am or 10:15 am for blessing students, teachers, and staff returning to school. Each bring her/his book bag, briefcase, or work bag to worship and we will pray for beginning another school year! Please note: everyone is welcome to come for the blessing— you do not need to be active in our ministry. And— please SHARE.
Items needed:
- 24-packs of crayons, colored pencils, glue sticks, regular pencils, scissors. They have plenty of folders, notebooks, and backpacks, although they will not turn away those items.
- There is a great need for underwear sizes five through 10, and pants with an elastic waist (including sweat pants) sizes 5 – 10.
- New items for this year would be washcloths and hand towels.
- $25 Giant gift cards (you may purchase Giant cards in the church office, place gift cards in an envelope marked “School” and place in in the offering plate or the church office for safekeeping).
You may place items in the Narthex.
